We worked closely with campaign group StopWatch to design a creative website that really contributes to their campaign for fair and accountable policing.

We worked closely with campaign group StopWatch to design and build a new website that supported their aim of campaigning for fair and accountable policing. We balanced creative design with strong usability and clear navigation.

We developed custom functionality for the site’s Your Area section where visitors are able to enter their postcode and get data on how their local police force uses stop and search powers.

We also devised and implemented tiered actions that allow interested visitors to easily get involved with campaign action in whatever time they have. We also designed striking infographics on the different stop and search powers and a logo design for a time-specific campaign StopWatch were running - these were designed to be compelling content to share via social networks so we integrated analytics that allow StopWatch to track how their content is shared.

Technically, the ExpressionEngine content management system gives full editorial control of the website to StopWatch’s staff and members whilst response design techniques mean the site displays beautifully on all devices, from laptops and desktop computers to iPads and smartphones.

StopWatch asked Rarebright to redesign our new website and we're very happy with the result. The site is more attractive and engaging, while also being simple to maintain. Working with Rarebright was easy. Most of StopWatch are volunteers, and there are a lot of different opinions to juggle but they managed to fit in with our schedule and keep everyone happy - no mean feat. We would recommend them and use them again in future.
